Ordered in 2005 and never ever used. It is brand new and boxed. Everything it was dispatched with originally by John Whiscombe himself is still there. It has the optional match trigger fitted, the HOTS system and a grade 3 Turkish thumb hole walnut stock. It has lived in a bone dry security cabinet due to no time to use it. Being the JW70 it is cocked twice to be shot each time. There is a factory fitted restrictor fitted keeping it sub 12 ft/lbs and therefore legal. John tells me with this removed it will produce 22ft/lbs or thereabouts. This hasn't been done but could be if you hold a valid FAC. I would undertake its return to John at my expense and have it unrestricted before being returned direct to the end purchaser. As you are aware John has stopped making guns and will not be making any more, so the value of these will only escalate in years to come. A very sad sale, but seems pointless to keep it purely as an ornament. Photos upon request. The scope and set back mounts will be included in the sale.
