Description
An early English style Spanish import made by Astra in 1961. The company is best known for their pistols and rifles used during the Spanish civil war. They made side by sides during the 60âs and 70âs then moved production to Switzerland when their CEO was killed byETAin 1977.
It sports 28â barrels under a broad file rib choked at ¾ and full.
It has a tight bolstered action with traces of case hardening and an English style clean stock with a length of pull of 14â
The barrels are clean inside, un pitted with almost perfect bore measurements, which leads me to believe it has had little use. The only downside is at some point the gun has been put away damp leading to a few rust specks on the outside of the barrels hence the low price
A good knockabout gun.
