Description
A good cased 12 bore double barrelled bar action hammergun by W J Jeffery & Co. 30" steel nitro proofed barrels chambered for 2.5" cartridges and bored at IC & 3/4 choke. Sunken top rib boldly inscribed 'W J Jeffery & Co. Ltd, 13 King St, St James St. London'. Plain bar action locks (some original colour) inscribed with makers name, with rebounding hammers and Greener cross bolt. 14.25" semi pistol grip stock (including horn butt plate) with vacant white metal oval. Comes in its canvas & leather case with nickle plated oil bottle (repro), snap caps and an incomplete cleaning rod.
