this is a 525 Advance, when the 525 was introduced there was no mid grade only grade 1 or grade 5 so they introduced the advance which was classed as a grade 2.5, the advance had factory installed briley extended chokes, half decent engraving and better wood, when I bought this it had a crack in the forend so I bought a new forend and a better stock as the originals were that horrid yellow varnish finish, this is oil finished and was professionally fitted and the wood finished, it's nearly 15" lop but can of course be cut down, it's 30" high performance steel proof,
